Jamie, My friend, Angie, was thrilled to meet you tonight at J Pepper's. She said you were AWESOME. I'm not surprised. We are perusing your schedule and making plans for a Chicks Nite Out to see you SOON. Always good to hear from you. Hope all of your family is doing well. Take care, Nellie
Really enjoyed running into you at Hickory Tavern on Stratford Rd. In Winston Salem Nc ! I've missed getting to see you and hear you preform! You're such a talented person! Love you Jamie! My boys and I truly enjoyed your music! Thank you so much as well for your newest CD! ❤. Be safe and continue to amaze everyone with your talented vocals! You make it an art form!
I passed your contact info onto Chris Ozment with the Fillmore in Charlotte. Good luck. Hope to hear you again soon. You have an awesome voice!
Stopped by to check the site out and see where you're going to be this Saturday. Very cool site! Hope to see you Saturday! As a true fan of music i can tell you: you are doing great James! Keep up the great work! Peace.
I have followed your music for I don't know how many years, since back in the Wilkesboro days. In all that time you have proven to get even better, much like a fine wine. If all I can ever claim to my credit in this life is, "that I knew you when..." it will be something to brag about. What I like to tell everybody about your music is simply, "you got to go see him."
The Mrs (Mary) and I have caught your shows several times in the Morrisville/Cary area. Excellent. You seem to be having a great time performing, while taking it very seriously. Now, that's professional. Thanks.
Triad's local jewel!
Finally got to visit your site, nice brother!
You're the man!
Hi! Miss you at river ridge tap hous . Hope to see you soon!
Best of Luck to you...
We saw you at a winery and really enjoyed your performance. I'll check your event schedule and make sure we see you again. Thanks!
James is one of the best local singer-songwriters I have ever heard. Very entertaining and interactive with his audience. He is an incredible artist who will capture your heart and soul. A must see for anyone who loves music.
Keep up the great music
I'll take that coming coffee with lots of cream. How about you?
Gonna catch a show soon!
James attended and played at our wedding last year. He was awesome. Everyone loved James as an entertainer and they truly enjoyed learning more about him. There wasn't anyone else we wanted to play at our wedding, Jamie was our only choice! If you're looking for an entertainer who can play to any crowd...James Vincent Carroll is your man.
Coming to K-Vegas to see you May 23
love your music and the passion you have for it
I was here! Hope to see you Sunday at Medaloni!!!!

One more thing, your song 421 was Amazing! Can't waint to get a copy of that!!! Best of luck, and the best for the holiday season.
Heard you for the first time last night at O'Callahan's in Mocksville, You were Great. We were the crazy bunch singing every song with you. You did an amazing blend of great music!... Along with single songs.. I have the best night there in a long time and hope you return! If I can get a bug in Dans ear that is what he will hear from me and my family. Merry Christmas... You gave us a Great night...
James (Jamie), Thanks SO MUCH for being a part of our wedding! everyone loved your music and truly enjoyed meeting you. You put so much passion into your music, I know that is why people love to hear you entertain. We were so glad that you were available!! So many people have come together to hear you play and have built lasting friendships because of you! We had at least 8 people at our wedding this past weekend because we were brought together by your music. Thanks for who you are and what you do. See you soon! We love ya! Robin and Al (long time fans and friends!!)
Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy. Ludwig van Beethoven James Vincent possess every nook and cranny of our local globe leaving behind his "piped piper" footprints on the heart of every audience. Each destination serves as a platform for lyrical infusion, transplanting words of wisdom, revelation and conviction. He can take the melody of nightingales, the whisper of a woman's heart, the stumbling notes of raindrops, the sting of a thorny rose or the bow of a smiling child and convinces you there is music in all that is fair and foul.
Can't wait for the album!
Jamie I would love to hear one of your songs off the new album !!!! :-)
Jamie I would love to hear one of your songs off the new album !!!! :-)
I am so excited to hear a new song. James puts so much heart and soul into his songs and he is not afraid to tell you a story through music about himself. I am proud to call James Vincent my friend. You will never meet a more honest and talented gypsy soul.
A friend said she heard you sing a song - "Lost in You". She said the lyrics were great. Could you make them available somewhere. Listening to a song is still not a good way to "live" the lyrics (at least to me). Thanks, Scott
The site looks and sounds great! Love the song Sunshine that's playing. I hadn't realized you changed your name. Keep on rockin'!
Sunshine (at the end of the tunnel) is really pretty. Hope to come to a show soon.

I was first introduced to Jamie Carroll music when attending one of his performances at a venue with my girlfriend who has known him for many many years. In the time since then have come to really appreciate his talent and we attend his performances whenever we can in our area. We have a multidisk CD changer in our vehicle however there is one CD in that changer and yes it is Jamie's.... I am also honored to say I consider Jamie a friend and I am also glad there was an extra seat at table Number one

Jamie, My husband and I really enjoyed the music last Friday. You are awesome. I was very impressed you sang a song you had not performed live before b/c I requested it. Kevin really enjoyed the Si-fi talk. I would bet he has many ideas that he will be sharing about BSG. Thank you for taking the time to come talk to us after the show. That was so nice of you. You are such a humble and genuine person. We will come to hear you again before too long. It is well worth the drive.

Jamie Carroll: what you see is what he is. He is an amazing singer song writer and he can really play a guitar. I love to hear him. He plays from his heart and he can bring a crowd in.He should be in Nashville I think He's that good or better.
The first time I had a chance to hear Jamie play was at a birthday party at a friends house. After a few songs, I knew this was music I wanted to hear more of. His original songs will touch you, and his covers will entertain you. A night out with Jamie performing, is a GOOD night out!!!!
It was great to see and hear you at Mac & Nelli's Friday night. You put on a great performance as always!!
Jamie Carroll has an amazing voice and is very talented. The greatest show ever!!! Jamie has his heart in his music and it shows every time he takes the stage.
I have known Jamie for about 7 years.. His musical ability to this day still amazes me! He has the ability to do anything!! And does it to the point of perfection evertime!!!
My friends and I have been coming to see you at many venues over the years and always enjoy your professionalism and passion for your music. You sing from your heart whether you are singing something you wrote or just for its entertainment value. Your warm approachability makes us feel even more connected. You have many loyal fans and we are proud to be counted among them!
Such an amazing performer. Quality, professional, passionate entertainer. Absolutely worth attending a show!
This man right here is not only an amazing artist, but he is a very down to earth, trustworthy, relatable, and caring friend. He is a very hardworking and determined man, we are very lucky to know yall. Love ya man
Jamie's shows are great! Love his grit and the way he CONNECTS with the song. He doesn't just sing the lyrics, he feels the music. That makes "me" feel like I am part of the whole experience, not just a spectator.

I absolutely love the 421 Take Me Home song Jamie. It's so funny because I learned to drive on the same roads as you did. You are doin a great job. Making McGrady proud.

Received a birthday gift today from one of the sweetest person you will ever meet. A copy of your cd "Next". She was so excited about the cd, becouse she knows I am a big fan of your music. I didn't have the heart to tell her I had that cd. I took the cd (and 1/2 of a pound cake, the other half went to my twin brother) and gave her a great big hug. She wrote Happy Birthday and dated it. I will be giving my copy to a friend, and play my NEW cd knowing you made three people very happy.

Went WAY back and read your Journal post from Oct. 9, 2010. "Sometimes Silence is a Louder Message" and the story behind the song " Broken Beautiful". Just wanted you to know reading your Journal post does for me what The Bible does for others. Keep up the great music, and the the words that makes a diffrence in someones life.
Great time Friday night @ Third Branch Cafe. Loved all of your songs. See you in June, stay true to yourself...
keep it up shibby
Sorry to see you leave FB, but I totally understand and I'll miss seeing your comments. But will continue to search you out on your website and venues. Take care!
What a great journal entry, well said! Sorry that I'm going to miss you at Third Branch Fri. Got to close the store. Will be checking the calendar for events. Later dude. Brad
Hey Jamie..for some reason..I JUST saw your last 3 journal entries. They are very good..very honest and true. Thank YOU for being who YOU are as well. Cheers! see you soon.
Great page Jamie:-)
I must be honest and say that I have not always read your journal entries in the past, but your latest entry was very inspirational. I just want you to know that you are a great musician and song writer. Your songs are, as you say, about life experiences and in themselves tell alot about you. I am certain that your time will come...I am very grateful for the time you take to nurture and lead Micah. My choices in the past have not always been the best, I know, and you have always made sure that Micah stayed grounded when my world seemed to fall down around me. Thank you for that. As you said, and I agree, I will support Micah in whatever it is he wants to become in life...even if it is a rock star like his dad! Thank you for remaining the one constant in his life. I cannot thank you and jlynn for all you have introduced him to. A jewel you have found in her! Keep your chin up and don't stop writing!
Love your music and performance at Classic Bar and Grill Wed March 14, 2012. Am enjoying your website especially your personal notes and photos on your life and music. Will be taking friends to see you soon.
Great Job last night at the Pine Tree it was my first time hearing you. Look forward to hearing you again sometime. Take Care.
hey! i just saw you perform for Meadowlark Middle School's advanced art students. you were fantastic!! thank you so much!
You have a unique gift when it comes to song writting, not often can a fan listen to music that sounds as if it was written for them. Writting what you feel and having it recognized in others is truely one of the greatest complaments an artist can receive, and you do brother, i can hardly wait for the cd
First time useing Pay Pal!! What a trip, thought I would never get my account set-up. Excited to know in "3 to 5 days business days" I can pre order your newest CD "Life Songs". Until then I'll enjoy your self title "Jamie Carroll" CD I got for Christmas. Brad
Hey Jamie...haven't checked in in a while. Looking forward to 4 Oaks tomorrow night and also my pre-birthday celebration on 12/17.
My wife and I can't wait to see and meet ya at four oaks thursday night with the April Waller Band,We think she and Kendallare so awsome, see you then and thanks for friending me. RC
Would love to have you play at our new Fiddles Pub in downtown Elkin. Check us out on Facebook, Fiddles Pub, and be sure to "Like" us.
Hey Jamie, Great show at Big Shotz on Saturday Night. I was with Robin Hanson and you sat down in the booth before the show to chat with us. I really enjoy your music. Especially the B. Springteen stuff! One of these days I'll be saying I knew Jamie Carroll when he played small venues! Take care and keep up the good work! Charles Hayes
Lindsay and I have enjoyed your music for the second time last night at Classics and we really enjoyed ourselves just sitting listening to you and your music...El Camino is probably my favorite song you sing but Lindsay can't get enough of I don't wanna know. Looking forward to the next show...thats right people, a show...and a pretty damn good one at that.
Oh my gosh. We so enjoyed the music on the patio at Beef 'O' Brady's. It was a magical night. The extra guest singers and players were awesome. I already sent Mooch a big thanks for I think he arranged it as a surprise to you, Jamie. We just got the benefit of it. I'm glad you got to sit and enjoy your friends a little when you were not wowing us with your great voice and music. Looking forward to the next time you can play for us. We do love having you here at Beef's.
That was an amazing show. Everyone seemed so happy and you all were astounding. I didn't know that was his father..what talent and what a wonderful surprise. Thank you Jamie and friends for giving us one of the best music nights that I can remember. You rock as a musician, father, human being in general :D..thank you.
Thank you for your honesty, your heartfelt music and bringing it to us show after show. I hope you get from us (the fans - YOUR FANS) how much we admire and appreciate your music. If it weren't for your music I would have never met some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We came together as strangers and are now a "family of friends". It really doesn't get anymore real than that. Again, you keep doing what you do and we'll keep showing up in support of you and your music.
Should have known right away that you were a musical brother of mine. We also share the same passion as advocates of Domestic Violence! Love the music!!
Jamie, Just listened to your music for the first time. You are AMAZING!!!!!! We are def going to have to hit a show up very soon. Keep up the good work!
I agree with your comment "STOP CHILD ABUSE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE" and speaking out. I really do think that we have to speak up about a lot of things. There are so many people that want to judge, gossip, cause hurt..in this world. Bullying or abuse of any kind is ignorant and does have to be faced head on.
Really enjoyed your music Saturday night at Beef O'Bradys
Jamie, You and Mooch sounded awesome on the patio at Beef 'O Brady's tonight. I'm so glad the weather is allowing us to use the patio again. I'm only sorry we had to leave early. Hubby is hurting these days and a minor surgery is in the near future. Say your prayers because he is the love of my life. I do love reading your journals and can relate to a lot of what you are saying. I wish people were more accepting and less judgemental. We all have stuff in our lives and we are all searching for answers that we may never get in this life. I choose to believe that God knows best and that His ways and thoughts are higher than mine. Keep on keeping on because we need people like you who sing about things we wish we could express ourselves. Thanks for being yourself.
Like your site. Hope to see you soon.
Hello Jamie, Your friend Tammie Davis told me about you! Your a great singer & I will mention you to our local radio station 98.90 WOKO. Take Care & Keep Up The Great Music & May God Bless You & Your Family Everyday. Jeffrey Claude Danis\ Burlington,VT

Another good entry Jamie...I could have or maybe should have said something tonight...note to self if happens again. I guess not everyone can contain their enthusiasm or consumption. Thank you for being who you are and also being compassionate. You know that things aren't always what they seem.
Jamie, Thank you for your great performance at our wedding reception last night! People were still raving about the music this morning! I'm so glad you were there! Catherine
What an inspiring journal entry....you are not alone in what you seek, there are many of us out here who feel exactly the same way. I search everyday for what I believe and pray that what I believe is real. Keep expressing yourself through your wonderful music and know that one day you will see yourself as most of us see you now....honest and real.
Jamie, you are a awesome musician and we love the opportunity you give us to hear your great songs each week. More importantly you are a awesome person, and I'm glad to call you my friend. See you soon dude!
Jamie you are amazing! I'm really going to miss seeing you so much but hopefully I can make it to some shows. You are my favorite musician after all :-)
geez dude... Looks like you are all offical now :)

I am really going to miss reading your funnies on Facebook!! See you soon!
wow..very nice entry Jamie. There SOOOOOO need to be more people like you. I think they broke the mold..I honestly do.
Hey Jamie! Keep in touch!
Be good!
Hello old friend. Its good to see you after all these years.
I love you new CD. I have shared it with my Dad and i think you have a new fan:)
I'm glad that I dont have to go back to Mocksville to see you perfom :D I WILL DEFINITELY Be Coming to High Point More often to hear you ! Keep It Up !
Very nice posting today Jamie. Very true..there are SO many opportunities for forgiveness of others and ourselves. These are really good lyrics..you forget songs like that over time. Thank you for the reminder. Oh and I'll try to continue to bring more people..I tell people often and try to get new converts. I know that you probably get too tired of seeing me out there in the crowd. :-D
Love your music! Always enjoy it when you play for us. Looking forward to the next time. Thanks!
Hey there Jamie! For some reason I just discovered your last Journal entry from December 6th. All I can say is WOW! You are SO right, and I SO understand! Your comments are excellent, about "goodness is goodness and all truth....is truth" and "all of us change, some of us change SEVERAL times. Isn't it awesome that we have been born with the ability to do so?" Yes!!! :D I too have taken several paths on my journey in life, and I often look back and wonder how in the world I made it through. But then I realize, that every step that I took, every good and bad (and there were way too many bad) thing that I have gone through was for a reason.....for me to discover who I am and what I need to do in this life in order to be happy and to help others. I have learned that I need to Live, Laugh and most importantly LOVE! My connection to God is my own unique and private connection. My truth is who I am and I have changed several times over the years, always for the better and I am now, ALWAYS true to myself! I do not trust those who do not like animals or music! I believe that you should not judge others, you should know your Source, you should do what is right and again, those three "L" words.....LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE!! Thanks for your journal entry, your insight and wisdom and for being, as always, Real!!
Thank you so much for having the CD Release Party. That was so much fun and was very cool. "Wild Horses" couldn't have dragged me away :-). See ya at a show soon.
Jamie, thank you so much for sharing your music with us. Reality is great....I am so glad my friends and I were able to come to your release at 121. While many of us have been through so much in our lives we don't have the talent to bring that raw emotion out through song. For that I say THANK YOU!
Keep rockin it brother....
I like Musical Heroes Jamie. Glad that you put them in one place..I can't remember all of the names :-D..
So many songs...so many words that touch my soul. With each and every chord, my heart nods in agreement...feels every word and sings them until the sun comes up, once again. Thank you Jamie. For everything.
YOU ROCK!!
Love the new site and music! Hope all is well with you! :D
Duuuuudeee,i think you are awesome!
I'll try not to write too much :-D (disclaimer up front)...WELLLLLLL, I of course like the entire cd. Really like Jerry's mandolin in Looking Glass and "Things..". 3-7 are beautifull. Mooch's playing jumped out for me on If Forever Ends. Really like the version of Things I Said I'd Never do-great song! Numbers 7 and 9 are such nice tributes to JLC. On Let You Down though..you're not just singing cover songs (which are great too)..but you know that we all appreciate ALL of your music and you. Really like the guitar intro on Bethel Rd. Glad that you added Dark and that you resurrected The Church and the Graveyard (think you said this is the original version..really liked it). WELLLLLL, Obviously.....I didn't keep my word on short..so shutting up now. Thanks for the music, being who you are and for connecting.
I so love your music..your the best!
Great new songs!!! I thought u are still on FB.
LOVE Furious !!! listening to El Camino right now..man it sounds different with back up and what not-but I like it..LOVE this one live !!!!!!!!!! Sugar Daddy sounds great too..like the snapping and the guitar jazziness Hate You is pretty/have only heard you do this one a couple of times live..this one sounds great! Guess evidently I prefer the ballads when recorded. Thank you Jamie for sharing yourself, your talent, your spirit..with your family, fans, friends !!!
I love your song "hate you"
Jamie, as always it was great to see you performing at Big Shotz. Can't wait for the MP3 version of Things I'd Never Do.
Hey there...love the new song Furious! the keyboards really add a lot..good job Mooch! see ya soon!
Jamie, Jamie, Jamie..wow!! tonight was even more special than your shows always are. I just think the world of you and wouldn't trade you for anything. THANK YOU for the GREAT music and being so tolerant (sp?) of our enthusiasm :-D
Loving the new cut dude. Furious is a great release.
Hey boss! Love "Furious" and Mooch's piano work is incredible!! :) I don't care what anyone says...this is as real as it gets! Congrats, man!!
Jamie, this is really pretty. This is a great choice for the first single. I think that you did a great job of sounding very sincere on the recording..just as you do live. The piano does sound great too. I'm glad that you and Mooch partnered in this song. Thank you again for sharing these with us and also your time and part of your life. Much appreciation to you and hopefully much, much more is to come. You definitely deserve the best in life.
Hello Jamie! I came to listen to your music for the first time last weekend at Claddagh's. You are absolutely talented! I will be checking your calendar so I can come hear you play again. Take Care!
Hello Jamie! What a great sound when you sang my cousin, Bruce's song, "Dear Father". After you left, I remembered that Bruce mentioned a name to me that he was thinking would be good to talk to about my spiritual song idea. I think it was your name. I would love to get with you some time if you would, to work on the song idea. My email address is sstamper7@hotmail.com Thank you so much for your CD also. I love it! Especially "Edge Of Tears"! Hope to hear from you. Another Singer/Songwriter, Shannon
Jamie - I saw you Thursday night Oct 28th at Beef O Brady's. You were even more awesome than you usually are. Always look forward to hearing/seeing you play. You always rock! - Michael
Hi Jamie! I haven't seen you in forEVER! I have been trying to keep up with your life via Facebook; thank goodness for social networking sites, hehe. I just finished reading your most recent journal entry, song lyrics included, and I was really moved by all of it. I felt myself hungry to continue reading your raw emotions and words. I'm glad you are so insightful, thoughtful, and gracious for all that is a part of your life. More people need to find a way to cherish what they have rather than what they don't. Good luck in your pursuits and, I know you will, keep singing! P.S. It wouldn't hurt to workout, too!! :P
I read your post Jamie. I love you and I appreciate your writings and singing. It's funny how different we all are over 30 years after we all met, yet how much of us still remains the same! I agree that our silence is often much stronger than ours words. If I could go back and re-do every time I wish I would have remained silent and traded that for the words I spoke. Well perhaps I needed to learn the lessons, perhaps it was though those mistakes that I really learned to grow. When I learned the value of being quite. Resting in silence can be sweet and secure though! Continue seeking Him Jamie! Love to you and your family, Bobby, DeAnna, Emily, Anna, Rose, Seth & Baby Vali
Jamie, I just read your post... about life, about Bruce... it was very touching. It's funny how many different paths we are given in life, and the roads we CHOOSE to take, and how they make us all into unique individuals; the people we are today! I am truly thankful that we got to know one another in high school, and how (even though we don't talk often), I still consider you a friend. Your music is as wonderful as you! You know, regardless of what you believe, I truly feel like we are given certain opportunities in life (there is a reason for it all), and I feel like you have been given such a talent to make a difference in so many lives! I can only imagine how exhausting it gets to be with working all day, spending time with your family, and then entertaining the masses. So don't ever forget to sometimes take a break for yourself; just to chill and enjoy the day without wearing yourself out. But for all of the people out there (myself included) that you have sang to, "THANK YOU"... you make a difference! I hope your spirits are lifted today (on this beautiful weekend)! I don't really know why I am commenting, but after reading your blog, I just felt like I needed to say "Thank You", and to let you know that you are thought of! Enjoy your weekend my friend, and I hope to see you again soon!!!
Your journal entry today was spot on! As always you captured your thoughts and feelings and relayed them so well..no wonder you write such great music! I do hope to see you again soon..Have a great weekend
Jamie, all of your pics are so awesome, I wouldn't know which one to say is the best! I know that acoustic is AWESOME! Haven't heard you play in a while but when you get back to Clemmons again, will try my best to make it out!
also really like that you added the Ron Pauol link as well. I really appreciate all that you do Jamie and look so forward to your shows!
I want to hear your Dream song on Myspace or FB....love the guitar licks..the whole song, lyrics and haunting melody....I listen to it over and over again...where can I find it online? It's my life.
Wow, I have been to church again tonight, am definitely a disciple! :) Thanks for an awesome 2 hour set, it was even more enjoyable than last week at Beef O'Bradys!! I am sincerely thanking my friend Rhonda for turning me on to your music and skills! I just read over some of your suggested sites, and was drawn in to the site regarding domestic violence. Bless her heart and her art!! Been there done that myself, so it really resonated with me!! I will work to get the word out!!! I have been inspired! I noticed that your new album is entitled: Broken, Beautiful. What a tribute to your friend!! Take care Jamie and Rock ON!!!

Thank you for being brave enough to post the animal cruelty video. I can tell you that those were not isolated incidents- they are industry standards. ALL factory farms operate in those ways. I passed a truck the other day with a load of pigs on the way to the slaughterhouse. I had to pull over on the side of the road because I couldn't stop crying. People tend to think of animal rights groups as crazy, irrational freaks. I am none of those. I am caring and compassionate for all living beings. I did not decide to become vegetarian because I didn't like the taste of meat. I have been vegetarian for 3 1/2 years now and when I look at a piece of meat I see a dead carcass of a living being who- just like humans, want to live, raise their young and avoid pain and suffering. Everyone who chooses to eat meat should be required to spend a day at these factory farms. How can anyone claim to be kind or compassionate, or love animals, yet eat them?
Great song (Broken, Beautiful), I've seen Michelle's artwork and know her well enough to realize what and inspiration she is. Love the CD cover, if you put that on a t-shirt I'm buying it. Also curious, are you familiar with the Full Grown band or Angie Rikard? How about Shelia Carlise?

Hey Jamie, We had a blast watching you last weekend! We'll be there again this Saturday, so I guess you have two new fans. Hugs, and break a leg...see ya Saturday in Clemmons!
Jamie, you were brilliant at the Clemmons Big Shotz Tavern tonight (Sat. 8/21)! Your audience was hooked, and even the servers were in awe. You gave a lot of people a great night out. Best wishes to you & your family.
Broken Beautiful is truly one of the most touching and inspiring pieces of music I have ever heard. What a perfect testimonial to Michelle and her power to move beyond what she went through. You captured the emotion so effectively... YOu are very talented. I am a friend of Michelle's and also a fellow musician (although I have been out of that world for a long time, having become a mother -- two sons, 8 yr old Ethab [!!!] and 6 yr old Evan -- and professional in other areas...). I was vocally trained for many years in the NJ/NYC area, and performed in several bands during my college days. I am a singer mostly, but also did percussion with congas, jimbehs, tambourines, etc. I live in Hickory, and have been searching out musicians who have even the smallest amount of talent... but haven't had much luck around here. So these days, I mostly sing my kids to sleep and wail out Janis Joplin tunes in the shower. But I am a music enthusiast, and can appreciate talent when I hear it. You, Jamie, have it. So great work, and good luck. I hope to see you perform some time if you are ever near Hickory. Liza Shaw
Great website. Again, loved the performance at the Festival @ Meridian this weekend.
You haven't changed a bit..... Love the site.
I am a survivor of an abusive ex husband in all three means - sexual, physical, and verbal. Your words hit home. Thank you!
Awesome words and ring true to anyone who has been abused .. Im sure...
Jamie Checked out the new song, and as with all your music, Broken, Beautiful carries a strong message. I believe that God speaks to us in many different ways, each of us differently. For me, it is usually through music. Is it always "religious" music? No! The message is found where God needs you to find it. Just like salvation doesn't have to be found in "church". I am so thankful for you and your music and the comfort it has brought me over the years. I can't tell you how many times during the breakup of my marriage that I sat at night, alone and heart broken, listening to your music and finding the strength to get up and go on. Thank God for giving you your talent and the message that he spreads through you. Now, get back to Wilkes and sing for me! Jennifer
Jamie, Broken Beautiful is very moving, make's us realize we all have hidden strength's. Just wish we all had the courage to show them.
Jamie, I love Broken, Beautiful. It has to be the most hauntingly beautiful song you have ever written. I'm sure that this song will not only be a blessing to Michelle, but also a way for her & you to speak out against abuse. I can't wait to hear the new album. Barbie

Jamie....I just spent the last three hours reading your past journal to date. I must say I was very impressed from where you started to where you are now. You have amazing talent that I hope will NEVER go un- noticed. You are a true testament of life's gains and failures and how it is much easier, to let go of what pains us and to love one another. I would like to reiterate how much I enjoyed hearing your music and meeting you last night at Big Shotz. I will be returning to see you again. You are a TRUE inspiration...at least to me! Super site!
Love ya man!
Jamie, I'm trying to get it contact with you. Email me.
I know exactly what you mean in your "Bully" journal. I have experienced this, although I always fought back and was left alone afterwards. I have a guy at my job right now who started the same time that I did, and thinks he is just sooo much better than me. He was offered a higher position and thinks he is just so great. What he DOESN'T know is that our District runners were pushing ME to take it because they did not WANT him to have the position, but I turned it down because it would leave me NO time with my children, who are far more important to me than any position could ever be. Now, anytime he even remotely offends me, I tell him to fire me if he don't like the way I am...and the best part about is, he CAN'T fire me because he does not have the authority and if he were to go to the higher ups, he knows they will not let me go....so the underdog wins again!!!
Jamie, the site is wonderful...you are wonderful...and I love your music. I am so glad we met up again. You have done some really good things in my life and you don't even realize it. I just want to thank you....for allowing me to be a small corner in your world, thank you for being you.
